El VEDC-WBC Inaugura Nuevo Programa de Capacitación

Sherman Oaks, California – 11 de Enero del 2019.- “El programa de capacitación de Latinos se expande a nuevos rumbos” dijo, Ruth García-Corrales, Directora del VEDC – Women’s Business Center. El programa de asistencia técnica empresarial totalmente en español del Valley Economic Development Center – Women’s Business Center abre nuevos cursos sin costo para el público en general.

Este programa tiene como propósito contribuir a desarrollar la idea de un emprendedor y ayudarle a crear su plan de negocio, mejorar la eficiencia como dueños de negocio y como usar las redes sociales para vender. Los emprendedores de habla hispana también tendrán la oportunidad de aprender sobre opciones seguras de capital, recibirán recursos bilingües para mejorar su historial de crédito y aprender buenas prácticas de manejo financiero y presupuestos. Esto les ayudará a tener finanzas saludables y estabilidad económica así como ser parte de una comunidad hispana de apoyo, aprendizaje y crecimiento.

Este programa es una iniciativa conjunta de VEDC con recursos del Go-Biz – “California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development” otorgados al Women’s Business Center. “Estos fondos abrirán la oportunidad para ayudar a establecer nuevos negocios y crear empleos, y darle a muchas familias un ingreso adicional, de esta manera muchos podrán obtener ese sueño americano”, mencionó Ruth Garcia-Corrales, Directora del centro.

El acto de inauguración se llevará a cabo el viernes 11 de Enero a las 9:30 de la mañana en las instalaciones del VEDC en Sherman Oaks. Como parte del programa el 12 de Enero se llevará a cabo el bootcamp “Planeando mi Negocio” con dos talleres intensivos de 6 horas, para desarrollar un plan de negocio completamente adaptado a sus necesidades. Donde además, el equipo de expertos brindará consultorías individuales para el desarrollo y ejecución del mismo. El objetivo general es que los participantes conozcan y cuenten con las herramientas para planificar, crear, gestionar y hacer crecer su negocio. Al terminar los participantes contarán con un Plan de Negocio detallado ajustado a sus necesidades.

Los emprendedores recibirán asistencia especializada para la redacción de su plan y conocimiento de requerimientos financieros. Desarrollarán habilidades técnicas de gestión administrativa y financiera. Interactuando con otros emprendedores para aprender de sus experiencias y aprovechar para crear esa comunidad de apoyo mutuo. La convocatoria actualmente se encuentra abierta hasta el 11 de enero, sin ningún costo. Los emprendedores interesados podrán registrarse directamente al www.lawbc.org.

VEDC- WBC Inaugurates a New Training Program

Sherman Oaks, California – January 11th, 2019. “The training program for Latinos is expanding to new horizons” said, Ruth García-Corrales, VEDC – Women’s Business Center Director. The Technical Assistance program for business owners is completely in Spanish at the Valley Economic Development Center – Women’s Business Center and the new classes are at no cost for the general public.

The purpose of this program is to contribute in the development of an entrepreneur’s idea and help them create a business plan, improve the efficiency of business owners and learn how to use social media to sell their products. The Spanish speaking entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn about secure lending options, bilingual resources to improve their credit history and learn best practices to manage their finances and budgets. This will help them have healthier finances and a greater economic stability, in addition to becoming a part of a Hispanic community of support, for learning and personal growth.

This program is an initiative of VEDC with funds from Go-Biz – “California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development” provided to the Women’s Business Center. “These funds will help us establish new businesses and create new jobs, by giving many families an additional income, this way many will be able to obtain their American Dream, mentioned, Ruth Garcia-Corrales, the Center’s Director.

The launch event will take place Friday, January 11th at 9:30AM at the main office of VEDC in Sherman Oaks. The program will continue with a “Boot Camp of Planning my Business” completely adapted to their needs. The workshop will start on January 12th, with two intensive 6 hour workshops. The center has a team of experts who will be assisting in provide one on one consulting to assist in developing and executing their business plans. The main objective is for participants to learn and adapt the tools for planning, creating, managing and growing their business. At the end of their workshop the participants will have a comprehensive Business Plan tailored to their needs.

The entrepreneurs will receive specialize assistance in writing their plan and knowledge about the financial requirements. They will acquire technical abilities to manage their business. The interaction with other entrepreneurs will allow them to learn from other’s experiences and create a support network. The no cost open enrollment ends on January 11th.
