New York Tri-State women business owners can access capital to grow their businesses!

Natasha Paul founded Evolution: The Green Room Salon in 2005 with the mission of providing clients with high-quality hair services.

Natasha displayed a knack for creativity at a young age. Now, with over 17 years of experience in the hair design industry, she is always exploring new ways to offer unique and luxurious services to her customers. Evolution is set apart from other Brooklyn hair salons by its commitment to using only organic, non-toxic, and eco-friendly products.

On July 20th, 2016, Natasha completed the relocation of her salon from Atlantic Avenue to Fulton Street. Her new location shares a space with a nail, waxing, and facial business, making the salon more accessible to a wide range of clients and transforming Evolution: The Green Room into a boutique.

VEDC was instrumental in allowing this relocation to take place. Natasha’s friend, who met a VEDC loan officer at a seminar, believed they could help her grow the salon. He was correct; VEDC’s small business loan helped her refinance debt, thus providing her with more capital to make relocation possible.

“Without the VEDC loan,” Ms. Paul notes, “I would not have been able to make the decision to move.”
