The nonprofit VEDC has earned a reputation for helping small businesses unable to qualify for traditional bank financing. Offering individualized service and reasonable costs, VEDC has loaned more than $400 million to 108,000-plus small businesses and created more than 200,600 jobs.
The Valley Economic Development Center, originally known as Vitalize Van Nuys Inc., today has operations across the United States. In addition to headquarters in Los Angeles, VEDC locations include offices in California, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, Utah, and the New York Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).
